PASADENA, CA – The Arroyo Seco Saints (7-4) are playing host to the Conejo Oaks (7-5) for the first time this summer season. The last time the Saints played at Jackie Robinson Field was June 13th, when they beat the Orange County Riptide 11 to 4.  

The Saints return home coming off a battled tested road schedule. On the trip they had an even .500 record with 3-3 overall. With their last game having a scoring barrage of 16 runs in their victory over the Walnut Creek Crawdads. Also out scoring their opponents 31 to 27.  

Other highlights from the road trip were that two Saints hitters had their first homeruns of the season, both coming in the same game. Against the Crawdads on Sunday, Joey Milto (portal) and Trotter Enright (Cal State Long Beach). Enright got a three homer, with Milto grabbing a two-run home run.  

The Saints come into today with a two-game winning streak, with their victories over the aforementioned Crawdads, 16-4. And the Sonoma Stompers 1-0, the eventual game winning hit coming from Keon Moseni (Central Arkansas) bringing in Jax Ryan (Arizona State).  

On the other side of the aisle for the Conejo Oaks, they are coming off a heartbreaking loss against the MLB Academy Barons on Sunday. The Oaks entered the bottom of the 9th inning up 7-3. But the Barons ended the game off a walk off three run homerun from Tommy Goodin, winning the game 8-7.  

These two teams have already played against each other twice, with both teams earning a win. The Oaks would win the first game 11-2, but a few days later, the Saints would bounce back with an impressive 8-0 win.  

These two teams are looking to have their mindsets right for today’s game. The Oaks are looking to forget their last outing and focus on a new day. While the Saints are looking to ride the winning momentum into another victory. The first pitch is set for 6:05 p.m.
