The Saints come into this game after beating the Riptide in an 8-6 contest. The game saw four different lead changes throughout, but in the end, a four RBI game by Cody Turner (Lee) would help push the Saints over the top for a victory.

Other players for the Saints who earned an RBI were Trotter Enright (Long Beach State), Jackson Reed (Seattle), and Jax Ryan (Missouri State).

For the Oaks, they come into this game with an extra day off, due to earning the first seed in the California Collegiate League South Division, resulting in a bye.

They were able to claim the one seed with an 8-0 victory in their last game against the San Diego Bombers. Where four different Oaks’ batters had two hits in the game.

During the regular season, the Oaks have had their way with the Saints. With having a 6-1 record against Arroyo Seco and outscoring them 43-27. The only Saints win came back on June 17, with an 8-0 final score.
