The Saints are set to host the San Diego Bombers in midweek matchup

PASADENA, CA โ€” The Arroyo Seco Saints (2-1) look to keep their potent offenseโ€™s attack going as they prepare to face the San Diego Bombers (3-7-1) tonight at Jackie Robinson Field.

Last night, the Saints posted a 12-run game after only seven innings against the Santa Barbara Foresters; the Saints also fired off 13 hits on the night.

Eli Lopez (Cal State Fullerton) had two RBIs and four stolen bases which complemented his teammates contributions perfectly. Lopez’s ability to get on base was a massive advantage as it set up the remainder of the Saints’ lineup for success.

Levi Maddela (Transfer Portal) put up three hits with one RBI. Jack Little (Baylor University) added two hits, including one RBI.

The pitching staff allowed eight runs in the first three and a half innings, but the Saints scored seven runs unanswered in the following three and a half innings. Unfortunately, last night’s finish has been postponed until the next time the Saints and Foresters meet.

The Saints are looking to add another victory to their record with two complete wins so far. The opposing team, the Bombers, are hoping to come out with a win after a set of losses.

The San Diego Bombers, a CCL affiliate, fell to the Orange County Riptide last night 10-2. The Bombers delivered six total hits for the night and allowed the Riptide to accumulate 10 hits.

In last nightโ€™s game, the Bomberโ€™s pitching staff recorded eight strikeouts, having all four of their pitchers tally two strikeouts apiece.

After an unfinished game last night, the Saints prepare to play their fourth complete game of the 2025 season.

Tonightโ€™s game is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Field.
