Santa Barbara Foresters
PASADENA, CA – The Saints (4-6) face the Santa Barbara Foresters (9-1) for the second time this season. at 5:35 p.m. on June 19th at Jackie Robinson Memorial Field. Previously, the Foresters defeated the Saints 6-4.
The Foresters are currently ranked number 1 in the South Region of the CCL. While the Saints are coming in as underdogs today; this Wednesday, the Saints took down second-ranked OC Riptide 8-3.
In the game against the Riptide, the Saints' pitching gave up the fewest runs it has all season. And due to Brayden Flores' (Loyola Marymount University) bases-clearing double, the Saints gained a comfortable lead against the Riptide.
Both teams are on winning streaks: the Saints with two wins in a row and the Foresters with six.
The Foresters have a consistent pitching game, never giving up more than 5 runs all season. However, Cam Andrews (California Baptist University) and Canon King (Undecided) both have a .400 batting average, which could give the Foresters' pitching some trouble.
Today's first pitch is at 5:35 p.m. Tune into the game on the Saints' YouTube Channel.
